Deputation Trail

Hello All!
I decided to start a blog just to keep you inform on how we are doing while on deputation. We started deputation in the beginning in March. Since then, we have visited over 10 churches in Oklahoma, New Mexico and Texas to share our call to plant a church in New Orleans, La. We are hitting the trail very hard. We do not plan to take a break and go back to Hampton, Virginia till mid June (that will only be for a couple of weeks). After that, we will continue on as the Lord will till November when we will permanently move to New Orleans. I am excited about settling in New Orleans, but along the way, I have met some great brothers and sisters in Christ. We are currently in El Paso and leaving for Lubbock in the morning (packing up again - no fun!). We had a great time in El Paso. The city is beautiful with all of its mountains and I could see right into Mexico (cool!). We also enjoyed fellowshipping with Pastor Serrano and his family, Pastor Joe Dickinson & Mrs. Tisha and the Garbers. Andrea Garber treated me to a much needed pedicure (I really enjoyed that) and a little shopping. The kids have been enjoying themselves, meeting new friends. James (our baby) is a little sick right now, which makes things just a little hard while on the road. Please keep us in your prayers, especially for the kids health.
